This one is truly rare and unique, there’s not another one just like it, or will there ever be. The first time they used Pale Moon Ebony fretboard. One of the best I’ve ever owned for sure , I’m including a link to the listing when it was on Ish Guitars. Offering it $1000 less than they offered it a short while ago.
Condition is excellent, extremely well kept in climate controled environment. I reserve the right to come to my senses and remove this at any time.
The Prima Artist custom shop has been offered off and on recently, some years they’re not any available. Truly the Apex of the Dingwall line, meticulously crafted by their very best.

This specific Prima Artist has a major unique feature: the first-ever Pale Moon Ebony fingerboard on a Dingwall bass (also, with no front facing fingerboard inlay in order to show off the beauty of this piece of wood). Ish Guitars and Dingwall collaborated over several months to make this happen, and we are thrilled with the result both tonally and aesthetically.
Another major feature of a Prima Artist bass is the use of a higher density wood (in this case figured Walnut) for the bass side to accentuate the highs and give power to the lows without affecting the treble strings. Dingwall then uses a lower-density wood (in this case flamed Maple) for the treble side to bring out the resonance and warm up the highs without affecting the bass strings. The results are dramatic for such a simple idea – warm, punchy treble strings with solid snappy bass strings, without affecting the treble strings.
